3.5" Enclosure as a NAS

I'm looking to get an enclosure to host my several HDDof 3.5inch size and then connecting to either my Apple Airport Extreme (router) to act as a NAS or as a USB 3 connected storage hub.

anyone has any enclosures to recommend? Please advise brand while you provide your recommendations.
