Original purchase price? What if its a resale?

Key is what HDB determines to be fair
i see some of the case study shared in the article.. the 3rd one really metal teeth
HDB somemore already tell him how to settle it and keep both HDB and Condo. He refuse to do it.
end up took back the HDB :s13:

Case 3: Private property purchased in trust for son

A couple bought an executive apartment in 2017 and their son and daughter were listed as authorised occupiers.

In December 2020, the husband and his father purchased a private residential property in trust for the younger man's son, who is a minor.

Flat owners are not allowed to buy private property during the MOP, including buying one in trust for another person.

HDB suggested that the husband either relinquish the trusteeship and transfer ownership of the private property to his father, or sell the private property.

However, he told HDB that he was not keen on either option and took no further steps to regularise the infringement, despite repeated reminders from the Housing Board.

Should be what the owner paid for also lo
:)Maybe not full compensation:D

https://www.channelnewsasia.com/sin...der-flats-owners-appeals-compensation-3286226

:)HDB said its compensation policy in such cases takes into account various factors, such as the severity of the infringement and the circumstances of the cases, as well as the administrative holding costs in acquiring the flat.

“This policy ensures that flat owners who infringe the rules will not enjoy undue financial gains,” it added.

According to the Housing and Development Act, the compensation may be varied by the National Development Minister on appeal.

HDB may apply for an order to deposit the compensation in court in a few scenarios.

This can happen when a person entitled to the compensation refuses to accept it or cannot – with due diligence – be found.
