The gaps will come in with time one lah.... No doubt temp variance accelerates the wear but the effect isn't THAT pronounced.... Workmanship and material quality plays a bigger part... And water.... You mop too wet, no amount of lacquer and polish gonna save them in long runSpeaking of air-con. Isn't cold-hot temperature-induced expansion a concern? Is that why there is always gaps between parquet flooring? Or is that just due to age?
Realized that parquet flooring tend to have that feet piak piak slapping sound, similar to Vinyl.
Think tiles tend to have nicer feedback. Though that will have that cold feeling jotting you awake; which u dislike
I think parquet was a preference bah. Don't really see that nowadays for redeveloped units.
