Absd is paid once. Stock concept
Property tax is paid annually. Flow concept. Make it painful enough owners will reassess the feasibility of the investment.

I know of people who are hurting more from property tax increases than absd.

I was involved in ndp 2008 in the safety committee. The parade doesn't start the time as what you see on tv. They will start dry run and rehearsals in the morning, afternoon as well. It is very hot and you drill until the warrant officers are satisfied

Ndp alot of exaggeration la. I last time also in the Ndp prep contingent also ma.. Lay the tapulin cover on the field.

Before start they keep saying need us lay all sheets nicely within 20mins and the sheets freaking heavy. Put in trolley and leave it on the rubber track, will permanently have the rubber track sinked in. Every rehearsal arrive early to lay... And last to go since need to keep.

End up actual day the 20mins is bull **** since we need lay it many hours before hand and just wait wait wait until whole show end.

I rmbr the latest i had to stay after one of the show is 2am. Omg. Then they say Monday off day

Also one of the incident I recall is when the show ended, everyone rushing to mrt station. Outside the road the barricade there this malay lady collapsed. And she quite big size. Me, my army friend also a medic and 2 st John ambulance crew had to navigate our way through the crowd and stretcher her all the way back to the treatment room where the MO doctor is

Tough work for the participants. Hope all safety protocols are strictly in place
