I am now planning a 3D2N (Fri-Sun) solo trip to Siem Reap.

Do you guys change to USD and bring there to change KHR? Are money changers a common sight in Siem Reap.

I plan to sign up Angkor Wat tour when I am there. Left half a day for food and light shopping.

I use the USD that I bring. Usually the change comes in riels, then I would try to use those as a priority. I would try to pay hawkers and small trades people with riels.

USD is king ....not sure abt SGD

Solo traveller can stay anywhere....do not bother go to the Lake (ton le sap) waste time. Angkor is good nuff. Otherwise town is smallish ...can walk almost everywhere

Actually cabin size luggage is 20 or 18"? << Out of the blue question.

Planning 3 days just to see Angkor Wat and light shopping only. It seems that budget airlines don't travel there gotta take the expensive one.

there's kompong khleang, kompong phluk, chong kneas and the 2 kompongs seem more 'authentic' than chong kneas. is that where you went?

jetstar does. air asia too but there's a transit that makes the total travelling time 5hr+, so that doesn't make sense for 3 days. i'm planning to head there soon too. which is the best airline you've found?

3D2N can do much in Siem Reap? I am thinking of taking night flight and check in during night time.

The night market worth visiting?
