I am planning to go BKK for 3D2N.

Is it sufficient for me to visit these places within the 3 days?

MBK
Siam Paragon
Central World
Madame Tussaud + Seal Life
Chinatown

Anyway i will be staying near MBK. Is there an airport express to somewhere near MBK?

Anyway has anyone walk to Jim Thompson via the small alley before?

depends on how long u going to stay there n shop ..
mbk,siam paragon, siam center , siam discovery center is within walking distance
chinatown you can visit evening to go eat the zi cha, or buy lin zheng xiang before which close 8pm local time ...
centralworld is 12min walk to siam paragon

airport express train only stops at rajpraprop station, which is 20 min walk from chitlom bts, 10min walk from platinum mall, 15 min walk from centralworld.

else you have to take to phya thai airport station, then walk 1min to phya thai bts, then take bts to mbk which is national stadium bts ... which is very troublesome ...

platinum mall, centralworld is good for shopping,
but not near bts ...
siam paragon and mbk is nearer to bts
so see where u wanna go
else u have to walk centralworld to siam paraon ... 12 min walk lo

depends on what u wan ...
if u buy one packet of floss think is abt 150b ... if those stick inside with floss is 170b ... they up the price abit compared to few years back
they also have other cheaper things like biscuit which is abt 60b P
Normally wont go there coz seldom buy the lin zheng xiang item.
zi cha there mostly same price as singapore...

prautnam take cab if by meter is 59 to 65b ...if not by meter is 200b
take abt 20 min to reach there if no jam

you are welcome. if you want can also buy at mbk, beside the food court.
many singaporeans buy there ... maybe they see lots of ppl there, then they also buy alot lol ...
price might be slightly higher , maybe 10 to 20% percent in my opinon
save the trouble of going chinatown to buy ...
however, chinatown being the main store, sample would be opened up for customers to try

Btw, if hand carry luggage is too big for cabin will have.penalty? All my past luggage all small nOw bought a medium sized one

they have limitation on the size for checked in cabin luggage.
If I not wrong is max 22inch luggage.
The have dimensions on their website, you can check , they will show you when you make a booking on their website.

The consequence would be if the counter gal says ur cabin too big to hand carry, then you will have to check in . Airport check in is abt 40 to 50sgd for 15kg. that is the price I know for jetstar. Other budget airline should be more or less the same. You can check with them

hmmm i would say CTC cos u can walk the whole day and still u cannot finish it..

CTC market
The market opens weekends and is super hot ... went few time with friends and parents. Is super cold can be as hot as 37 to 40 degree lol ...

the size is abt 24x football field so big, abt 5 toilets ...
the toilet is abt 3 or 5b per person ...
nearest bts is mochit or mrt is kamphaeng ....
pratunam cab there is abt 100b

you will get lost there, so is better to get a map from there ...
every section selling different things, such as furniture, pets, clothing, decorations stuff ...

normally would reach there abt 12 noon, as most stores would have opened by then

Pratunam market is smaller size, close around 5+ or 6+ ...
things there some cheap some not cheap ... so have to ask around

especially pratunam area, from 11am to 8pm, will jam
most taxi would ask for 200b to 400b ...
tuk tuk will ask 150b at least
so have to try to ask many cab lo ..

else stay near shopping mall, like myself stayed at legacy express.
we hgave 3 adults, so we went to siam paragon , mbk, centralworld.
Each is abt one to 2 to 4 stops bts from our station ...

so far half will go by meter, which is abt 50b to 60b max, due to jam ...
if not by meter, they would quote 100b since is so near lol ...
coz we each person take bts is abt 20 to 25b, muz well take cab 100b lol ...
coz their bts station very high ... need take 2 escalator or stair case ...
sometimes your side no escalator only staircase, so have to climb lol ... tiring

not much to shop actually ...
unless u like those singlet with wording print like osaka tokyo etc ..
each is abt 110b ...

worst is that, many people dining inside, think they kana conned liao lol ...
we ate abt 26sgd per person with few dishes and rice ...
super expensive haha.

Wah so bad ah. I thought i can buy a lot of clothings from and chose to upsized my check in luggage to 15kg. Looks like I won't have much to buy there liao.

Maybe makan trip instead.

I guess my initial full day itinerary : Siam discovery, Siam Paragon, Central world, Platinum mall can be done in less than half a day. Paragon only to see see look look.

I am going Hua Seng Hong Shark’s Fin. I think their street food taste better than the restaurant there.

Their Chinatown is more nostalgic than us here? Cos I like to visit these kind of nostalgic feeling places.
