We can see beyond our system. Stars billions of years away we also can see, by right not much reason we are unable to detect SOMETHING, even if that something is currently indeterminable. Maybe the Bootes void is that main fleet you are talking about lol

If it's a real high end alien civilisation, it's unlikely that they will want to be shown visibly, still have blinking hazard lights to show people that they are around.

If they do put such hazard lights or blinking lights, it shows that they are able to communicate with others. Then they would be able to communicate with us in advance for whatever purpose.

Science studies is never complete, experts think it's unusual due to only a small number of such unusual objects seen before, that they can't explain with science they understand yet.
