This is my recommendation for a tiny, console like PC

i7-6700 + MSI H110i Pro AC @595
MSI GTX1080 Aero OC @979 (only blower style 1080 I can find)
2x16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 2400Mhz @329
Silverstone SFX 600W Gold @189
Fractal Design Node 202 @ 129 (cause it is tiny)

And if you are using Node 202, you can't use a 3.5 inch drive so I recommend getting like a 1TB WD 2.5 inch HDD for 91

Anyway see your size preference also, but since you want mITX might as well go as small as you can :s13:

Nah dun bother getting 3200MHz ram, as there isn't significant boost to gaming.(beside that the board recommended to you also can't obtain that speed.)

Next for bigger cube is like Thermal take core V21. (Able to fit slightly longer GPU and use atx PSU.)

3k budget hit up on a node 304 case ba. Then Z170i board with i7-6700k and corsair vengeance lpx ram @ any frequency you like. Just remember to overclock it at bios. Msi aero gtx 1080 or any of the founder edition gtx 1080 Blower style gpu to help maintain temps for overall system.

Hi, I recently build my computer with Asus and Corsair stuff and mix with a few others which would be within your budget, here it is:

Intel i7 6700k
Asus Z170 Maximus VIII Hero Alpha
Asus GTX 1080 Strix Gaming OC
Corsair H100i V2
G Skill TridentZ 3200 8GB x 2
Samsung 850 Evo 250GB
WD 1TB
Corsair RM850X 80+ Gold
Fractal R5
Asus VG248QE monitor

Total damage $3.7k

Saw on your build that you are using Corsair 250D case, which I'm interested in for my upcoming new rig. Did you managed to fit in the Corsair H100i V2 AIO into this case? Saw on some review that the H100i V2 is slightly too big for 250D case.
