3th party battery

Anyone encountered issue with 3th party battery when in phone plug in to charge the phone display message that " a 3th party battery or charger is in use" & then disallow u to charge.

After the recent update for my note 3, this happen & when i switch to my original batter it able to charge.

This is a safety check that is somehow sneak into your phone by the manufacturer.
This was mentioned in similarity to Note7 and some other models.
You may have to review the phone settings to disable this function.
Basically this may fall under Notification and or in an app installed without knowing.
Best is time you take control on the phone.
Review all the settings especially notifications by apps that is inconvenience n disruptive.
I always check thru the settings and disable apps i do not want to notify and or make unnecessary usage, as in comm.
