Most women nowadays have a good career with high earning power. This only make them have higher standards when choosing a spouse. Rarely do they marry someone who doesn't earn as much as them. Those who do are the exceptionally rich or those that really want to get married no matter what.

Marriage is unlike before and people take it for granted nowadays, treating it as just a piece of paper and are desperate because of the housing issue here.

This country has already gone downhill long ago...

We should done away with marriage vow long ago.. if the marriage hinge on a guy with higher or equivalent earning power , the modern matrimony here will never work thu thick and thin..
