Hi guys i just gotten my posting which is 40 SAR and AI TPR(TRAINEE)

Can someone kindly enlighten me on what is this?

I would like to mentally prepare myself for this because i heard amour infantry quite xiong.

Yep. At least Keat Hong Camp building is not bad

You either train to use M203, Matador, SAW or GPMG.

The roles are:

1st M203 (M203) Frontman Basher
LAW1 (Carry matador) with SAR21

LAW2 (Carry matador) with 3X scope SAR21
SAW1 (SAW)

SAW2 (GPMG) Try to avoid this role, carry MG during outfield and VOC is no joke. MIght need to carry MG rounds too
Section 2IC (M203) Might need to help SAW2 to carry MG rounds.

There are still other small roles.

Bikee (Ride bike with GPMG)
PC Runner (run around with signal set and SAR21)
Combat Medic
Anti Tank personnel (Same as LAW1)


At least u got bionix vehicle to ferry you during outfield unlike infantry units
Be prepare to have alot live firing and cleaning of weapons and next year EX WALLABY.

What about the things to bring for the first day ah?

need to really bring all the knees guards, iLBV items?

Then the SMART 4 must bring all 5 sets?

What about PT shoes, PT kits, admin kit and stuffs like that.

Mind elaborating on the things to bring please.

P.S : They said no camera phone allowed but then i see the news they did allow people to bring camera phone though. so should i bring the camera phone on the first day of my reporting?

Just bring all . You will need this knee guards in time . camera hp you want bring den bring lor,but if commanders ask you to surrender it you better comply.

I am also just POP-ed recently, and was being posted to the same vocation.

I got a couple of questions to ask.

firstly,do we have any confinements during the training phase? or we can get to book out every fri,similar to BMT?

also, is there any chances of me being able to throw to other vocations?like tank driver or something? really dun feel like chiong sua for the next 2 years..and i am worried that i may not be able to withstand the training and stuff like that.

to be honest, i think everybody who kena this vocation also feel damn sian,cos we see other ppl go MP,medic etc while we have to chiong sua makes me feel damn sian..

AI trooper is quite xiong but believe me once you get use to it, you will have fun. Don't think so much. However, there is chances that you may be posted to become an AFV operator. I am from the batch before you!

My batch is old kite Hong camp at CCK. Always buy half chicken or prata or fried rice opp the camp. So gd, last time when guard duties are own ppl. Quickly go out for a quick tabao food.

Last time at the brigade, the old Aunty sell lor mee with meat ball. Shiok.

Take good care of yourself, and prepare to keep on chiong sua only.

If you think you cannot take it, just see the MO.

Don't force yourself to tahan everything.
