Never seen those.Don't need to catch up. Some of them were also listening to Ayumi back in the day. There were China versions of her albums being sold here during the death of CDs era, probably both pirated and original.
I was in China alot during the mid 2000s.
I know anime was starting to gain traction albeit still considered niche and part of "young punk" culture. But I never really saw jpop back then interestingly. The max i know was the young peeps back then heard of Wands and Zard......
