Hard to make compatible as ISA is parallel bus and PCI-E is serial bus.
Speed for // is limited over distance.
Yeah. You'd literally need a custom built piece of hardware to translate between technologies.
Ultimately I think basic video display is possible to pull off. Hardware acceleration? Forget it.
