45 mins from PEK to the city by airport express+ metro/taxi or by taxi, not possible. Unless there are no cars/traffic.

Dont wear winter boots. I think u can buy running shoes made for winter cos you will need to run to cover the above

Just get to the airport 2 hours prior. No need to go too early. Nothing at the airport.

Don't worry. If nothing else, I'm confident in my walking ability.

I'm also not bothered about covering everything. Can always come back again.

January probably no snow. It didn't snow last year except for a day.

It snowed last week in Beijing.

can go Tai Gu Li or Guo Mao there shopping
can see 中国尊 but don't think it's open to public

Nanlouguxiang is pretty nice. Damn touristy.

Mr Shi's Dumplings is nearby. I find it so so only.

Can try 很久以前. There's an outlet at the APM Mall in Wangfujing. We bring our friends to 很久以前.

The walk between Qianmen and Wangfujing is quite nice. There are colonial buildings that are supposedly Instagramable.
