4D3N only Taipei

Will have a toddler boy with Wife on trip.

Is 4D3N too short?


Last time went Taipei was easily 8 years ago

It's quite a lot of additional headache/worry when bringing a toddler overseas.
Have to ask yourself what is your goal for the trip. If it's just to take a break from work and chores, then probably staycation, or JB/Batam might be better.

Not saying that it's a dumb idea to go to Taipei for a 4D3N holiday with a toddler, but just saying it may be more trouble than it's worth.
Personally I'd suggest at least 5 nights, coz you'd likely not be able to cover much ground each day. Everything will be slower.

one day is still ok ... If 4days might cost about 600+ kinda high ...
For our case, we only booked one day ...
The rest of the days, we take turn to look after the kid in the hotel room, while the others go out ...

Go there babysit in the room?!?!
You really got the patience to do that...
Please bring them to 親子餐廳，do something more useful and practical.

Need push pram out and really take it easy.
If really have 4D3N, then just do what is their priorities ba.
Can be done, just most of us feel not worth it.

Normally would go 5d4n or 4d3n ...
thu to sun/Mon or fri to mon/tue

Flying 1am flight , reached taipei hotel 8am, can check in already.
since booked the previous night ...

at least day 1 have full day ...
4th day 12pm check out, 3.35pm fly to singapore, 8pm land singapore ...

And also has so much annual leaves left.
So go for short getaway to eat ，炸雞排，滷肉飯，肉丸，牡蠣，蠔仔煎，肉庚

I feel the challenge for parents and toddler will be land transport and food. Taiwan, or Thailand or Penang (which I am thinking to suggest) may be equally tricky. Food at these countries will likely be more at street food, which may not be conducive for toddler.
I guess that's a challenge for parents bah, how to balance a holiday which ownself can enjoy and yet suitable for the young child..

Bring young kid, very hard to enjoy haha ...
1st challenge is flying ... they would be scared and keep crying ...

especially those below 3 years old ...
u have to guess what is the reason for them crying ... they dont know how to speak out yet ...
