4g connectivity issues.

Recently my lg g5 has been having an issues where the status bar shows 4g but im getting little to no data connection. Nothing loads, my spotify doesnt play and whatsapp msgs doesn't come through. I tried making regular calls during this period and that works fine. Only fix seems to be airplane mode on and off but that fixes the problem for a few minutes at best. Sometimes even that doesn't help and i need to resart my phone. Is this a phone issue? I rather not send to lg service centre cause i literally got it back couple of days ago after a whole fricking month. Halp pls.

For this kind of issue, at least state the following things:
- What is current mobile operator?
- Are you using Postpaid or Prepaid services?
- Are you able to use the internet on 3G (H/H+) or everything cannot?

-im not sure of the rest. Got ways to disable 4g and try?
Edit- disable my 4g and now im seeing H on the signal. Internet is working so far. Ill update after using for awhile.

It could be your APN settings that is not working properly. Go to settings -> more -> mobile networks -> access point names -> check if it is shwap. If not change the APN to shwap. Search online for the settings.

(This is on Sony Xperia and on M1's network, therefore it may seem different from your LG device.)

You may want to call StarHub to check the connectivity. Since APN isn't the problem and on HSPA (3G) it is working, it is their side that's the problem.
