Top end would go for Intel Optane PCIe SSD ba.

Evo not bad for consumer use le. Not the best writes when the buffer is full:s22: but works well for loading games and OS.

No Pro no talk ;)

Aside from that, TS you are wasting about $1k on the Asus brand name.

With all the rgb ram asus strix 2080ti,mobo 970evo ssd .will u buy?

Well the setup on my right is around that budget you have mentioned. It works great and I have no issues with anything. Temps are great and gaming 5 hours in a row has CPU temps under 65 and GPU under 55 degrees. Rig mainly used for gaming only.

This post made me realize that I should stop spending on PC components. The amount I've spent not even including anything outside of the case is already $6614 on just the parts inside the case including the case.

This does not even include my old PC parts. Just the current one in its current form.
No keyboard, mouse, monitors, external sound cards even included yet as that would have net me $13,393.86.

Need to watch my spending on PCs from now on. :D

you happy can liao. I find it more satisfying to spend $360 on a ps4 that can be modded, $100 on a vita slim that can be modded, $400 on a switch that can be modded.

PC users can mod their case with rgb

Comparing 2 different platforms for the sake of monetary arguement is illogical. Gaming on PC is far superior to what consoles can even reach in today's standard. The yields from modding a PC translates into a more tangible experience for the user than that of a console which has main specs which can't be upgraded.
