Hello!

I am currently planning for my trip to Tokyo which is 5 days. (Heard not much to do in Tokyo hence only 5 days) This is my virgin trip to Japan and i am having trouble planning for it.

I already booked my hotel, which is near Shinjuku station. Currently only thinking about visiting Mt Fuji, not sure what else.

Was wondering if anyone has any suggestions? I mainly looking for good food to eat there, if you have any suggestion please state :s12:

And to do lots of shopping, need some recommendations on areas to shop in.

Haven't bought my thermal wear yet, thinking of getting it there.

Thanks in advance! :s12:

For shopping and food, Shinjuku offers a nice balance between the two. You can check Tabelog for local recommendations and ratings. Just remember that for popular places, be prepared to queue or perhaps adjust your meal times 1hr earlier than most.

What do you intend to shop?

5 days confirm not enough but good enough to cover some area (depend on what u want to do/see/visit)

Of course $ must be enough.

You need some sort of warm clothing, for sure. Whether you need a winter jacket, or whether just a light windbreaker depends on your own resistance to cold weather.

Like someone else said up thread, March average is 12C high and 5C low (feels a lot colder when there's rain / wind).

temp will be lower if u go places like lake kawaguchi, so if its 5 degrees in greater tokyo, lake kawaguchi can drop 5 degree lower.
