compared to the raspberry pi, this have a x86 cpu which is means you can run most desktop and server OS and applications on it.

It has built in 16GB emmc storage so unlike on the raspberry pi you won't have to use a sd card as a boot storage which can fail easily.

Also it comes with Gigabit ethernet unlike the pi which makes it much better for network intensive uses like NAS etc.

Literally specs wise its better then the raspberry pi in every way.

it's sad to see that nowadays the name of the raspberry pi is only used to compare how other SOCs are better when compared :o

The one advantage the raspberry pi have over arm SBCs is that it's gpu works unlike other arm soc where the mali gpu driver has to be reversed engineered to work.

I once used a orange pi 2e as a headless server as it has better specs ( more ram, gigabit ethernet, emmc flash storage) compared to a raspberry pi. However for task that requires the GPU a raspberry pi is better.

The atomic pi seem to be the best of both worlds.

Don't everyone and their grandmother have a windows pc already? Why get this just to run Windows again?

The atomic pi is basically like the raspberry pi where it's a cheap tool to teach children how to use Linux.

Installing windows on it it's like blasphemy.

my grandmother don't have a windows pc yet, burning one for her next year.

because to get muggles to take notice, have to be "windows friendly"

and it is blasphemy
