I am wondering what pc i can build with a $500 budget? With just the CPU itself without monitor and OS



My main aim is to watch videos on youtube, microsoft word and power point. There is no need for gpu as i'm not gaming.

i am using a E7400 with ECS G31 motherboard, 4GB DDR2 RAM with INTEL IGP to do just that. it would be better if the IGP had video acceleration but it works fine.

In this case, any Intel C2D or AMD Athlon II cpu can do that already. My living room PC is a Athlon II 240 with 4GB DDR2 RAM is more than sufficient to watch youtube in FullHD without lag and do Photoshop and MS Office....
