dunno, but i noticed my ingots reduced after i tried the campaign.

maybe u rechoose or choose more than one reward.
One battle choose 1 reward think will not reduce the ingots.
Always look out for the ingots icon and not press anywhere next to it.

3 areas I use most of my gold ingots,
1. buy a purple general outright. Quality 14 purple general cost me 499 ingot.
2. upgrade the last section(10% success rate) of each of the god path. (10 ingot to make it +10%(20%)), otherwise waste a lot of pills.
3. upgrade city under country battle to lv2. 100 for town, 100 for pills, 100 for rice.
