Hi Guys, please rate this build:

Usage: Only for gaming. Intend to do 4k240Hz gaming with DLSS and frame gen. Mainly is to play COD BO6, Tempest rising, Diablo 4 etc.

$1,989
https://www.invaderpc.com/product/specs02/

AMD RYZEN 7 7700 3.8GHz 8CORE/16THREAD
ASUS
TUF GAMING B650M-E WiFi
THERMALRIGHT ASSASSIN X 120 R DIGITAL ARGB BLACK
CRUCIAL PRO DDR5 BLACK 6000MT/s 32GB(16GBx2) CL36
MSI GeForce RTX™ 5070Ti 16GB SHADOW 3X OC
CRUCIAL E100 1TB 5000MB/s PCIe Gen4 SSD

Is it worth it to top up $152 for B850M Asus TUF Wifi gaming plus motherboard?
Invader PC gave me the option to top up $172 for 2TB 990 pro SSD

Also, would a 7800X3D be better?

Meanwhile... Aftershock Build $1,979:

no need to top up the motherboard $152 not worth, the current one is already solid

that giga board sucks

You know what's worse?

That Gigabyte B650M Gaming Wi-Fi board is actually running only at about 90W due to thermal throttle and yet hitting those temps (when measured directly with thermocouple under 21c ambient). It's literally a junk tier motherboard that is at the "MUST AVOID" list of AM5 motherboards.

This is why Aftershock PC is a prime example of how you should NOT build a rig.. they are using components that every DIYer dread of using, and no demand means keeping low cost while having high availability, that's how far Aftershock PC is willing to go when it comes to cheaping out on your rigs.

Invader PC has been selling better rigs for better prices for awhile already.. they have a better idea of what they are doing and it can be seen in their part selection.

any idea about Palit Gamingpro 5070ti vs MSI Shadow OC 3x 5070ti?
Also the Gigabyte B650M board seems to be way cheaper than Asus TUF B650M board.

Ya leaning towards invader PC now if AS cannot match what InvaderPC offer

funnily enough their lower tiered and cheaper B650M DS3H has better VRMs than this B650M Gaming WiFi

Get Lexar NM790 SSD for primary and second that Crucial SSD isn't very good.
That spec is OK I have no complains, no need for 3D chip if not you be paying a lot.
Aftershock spec is OK but I won't recommend especially if you want a stable and less
issue PC.

I don't want to say too much about Aftershock PC unless there's a lot of people interested
to know what sort of issue their PC have.

Was thinking Samsung 990 pro SSD as top difference up between this and Lexar NM790 is around $40.

If you got budget go for it, Samsung 990 pro have DRAM cache.
The Lexar has no DRAM cache, depending on your usage.
If you go a lot of editing or file transfer, SSD with DRAM cache won't slow down.
Gaming wise both drives are fine.
I usually would recommend Lexar NM790 over Samsung 990 pro mainly due to price.
As well as Samsung 990 pro NVME heatsink is a must as it can get real hot under load.
Lexar NM790 1TB no it run cools most of the time so heatsink not required.

https://www.techpowerup.com/review/lexar-nm790-2-tb/19.html

Either choice you won't go wrong.
Avoid Crucial SSD unless solely for data drive.

As well as Lexar drive do not get the NQ version which is basically cut down version of NM series.

Meaning slower than NM series.

Yeah but I also play other games not just Bo6, like Diablo 4 etc. upcoming doom, stalker 2 etc
If you want doom, just get the 5070ti. There's a game bundle for it now. It's even on the banner on that build.

So you will pick Lexar over Samsung? Samsung got cache 1024mb etc
For my use case, yes. I suspect this is true for most people too. Unless you constantly transfer large files and waiting = losing money, sure go for 990 pro.

CRUCIAL PRO DDR5 BLACK 6000MT/s 32GB(16GBx2) CL36 - they have CL30 options for quite cheap and is worth to spend abit more for thermal paste
this is what i planned for gaming only rig so CPU not that impt but airflow is my first concern
