Have anyone seen them sold locally here? Any idea whats the price and who is selling them?

In the retail market, I think the max I've seen is only 256GB. 512 may still take some time before it becomes common. On a side note, I don't recommend spending a lot on SD cards since they don't last as long as proper SSDs do. It is best to purchase the current average storage size, i.e. 128GB, to avoid paying a premium.

They don't exist yet. Highest capacity is currently 256GB.

Samsung and SanDisk are the market and technology leaders; can check their product offerings to know what is currently leading edge.

Still wondering why I need such a big storage for mircosd? 100+GB already more than enough to store enough photos and music.

I guess for the likes of Nintendo Switch, a high capacity SD card will be something good to have considering some games requires quite a lot of space and will also take a long time to download.

I wonder how much time is required to write 700gb data onto a 1tb micro sd card. :s22:

a better device would be usb 3 dual thumbdrive if your device supports otg. can copy about 40MB/s
