Hi, need some help on this. I prefer something that is higher quality than the Seasonic G-series and Superflower Leadex. The Corsair RM550x and EVGA G2 550W are ideal but not available. Any help? Thanks.

EVGA G2 uses the superflower leadex PSU platform, OEM is superflower.

The discernible difference lies with the "SF proprietary 3x3 cube cable" for modular cables vs. standard modular cables.

The review on Jonnyguru already shows that the Leadex uses some non JP caps on their secondary side as opposed to full JP caps in the EVGA G2 (yes I know the OEM is Superflower). The Seasonic G-series is still a notch below the EVGA G2 and Corsair RM in terms of quality, and the retail prices show it too. Meanwhile, the EVGA GQ is a just souped up FSP Aurum with mediocre ripple suppression (and obviously cheaper too).

G2 also uses capxon caps on modular PCB like SF gold. Full Japanese caps if you'd like will be P2.
