5700 Xt Red Devil 100% GPU Usage

Hi, Anyone using 5700 XT Red Devil and when playing game the GPU usage will be at 100%.

Is it suppose to be like this or is there something wrong ?

I think you should furnish more information on what games are you talking about, at what graphical settings and resolution? What is the specs of your system?

Asking those questions because it depends on all the above. In my opinion, it is normal for GPU to be 100% load when gaming, especially so if it is one of those AAA titles with an emphasis on graphic quality. If you are playing very old game titles like me, then it is possible for the graphic card to be <100% load.

I playing mostly FPS game like Apex Legends. My resolution is 1440p. Usually i set most of my game to medium instead or high or ultra. some setting will be at low or disable too.

1440p is GPU bound more than CPU bound. So yes. Normal.

I think that pretty much answers your question. Apex Legends is not a light game, and at the resolution and image quality settings, it is normal for the GPU to hit 100%.

Yeap it is normal, using the same gpu and playing Apex on 1440p too. utilization is always near 100%. not near 100% then something is wrong cos if the gpu got the headroom it should be trying to churn out more frames unless the cpu kana bottleneck then gpu will be lower
