5700xt or 2070s?

Currently on the fence between the Red Devil/Nitro+ (5700xt) or the Zotac Amp Extreme (2070s). My concerns are whether the 5700xt might get overly hot and loud as I need to stream so the mic might pick up the fan noises. As well as my case is under the desk and it's not the best case for good air flow (n300).

The 2070s is 785? Give or take and the 5700xt is 685.

One of the consideration maybe is.. your monitor got g sync or free sync?

If you can afford it, go for a better GPU (2070s).

Stream Mic can be closer to your mouth to reduce background noise. Fan curve can be adjusted to reduce noise.

Performance cannot be adjusted after buying the weaker card.

If you have a budget headache just go for the cheapest. AIB 5700XT and 2070S performance are identical anyway, so just go for the brands you like. Gsync can work with Freesync now too.

AMD for freesync over HDMI

nVidia for GPU encoding and gsync

Or really just take whatever is better for that particular game

Really boils down to your budget. Both are good cards. The 2070S is faster (though not by much), but cost quite a fair bit more than the 5700XT.

Dunno about pricing, but the new THICC III Ultra is a triple fan model, so should have better thermals and noise performance over THICC II Ultra.

USD500 so around SGD750. Nitro or MSI Gaming X is a better choice.

so many version sia thicc. i remb one of it wasnt good. some issues iirc.maybe this version is to resolve it.

but must see if anyone bringing it in to sg.

Haha but not all monitors ma.. if not later turn on G sync the screen start flashing

i just build a right with sapphire pulse 5700 xt, pretty good

RTX Cards, esp those with the founders PCB also contain a Virtualink port that also doubles as a USB C PD 2.0 compliant charging port. USB 3.1 gen 2.

Gets detected the same way as a native usb c pd port on a motherboard. PD charging devices up to tablet sized ones should charge at a good speed. Will still work on PD charging laptops but YMMV in charge speeds.
