5D 4N in Taipei

If i were to exclude accomodation, how much to bring to Taiwan? No itinerary planned yet but free and easy without going to too many attractions. Mainly eat, relax and chill. Probably 2 days of shopping (get some clothes, perfume, belts) and eating at restaurants with friends and the remaining days just normal fare. 1k SGD enough?

Should exclude hotel in the calculation, cos you already know how much the hotel is going to cost you.

S$100/day is more than enough for street food and occasion restaurant food. if you eat restaurant food all the time like sushi, buffet, cafes, etc... bring more money.

To be realistic, you should budget sgd$100 per person per day for foods and transport.

Set aside another sgd$100 if you and your girlfriend would like to visit cafe and restaurant.

All the way to Taipei for holiday, for me i wont say no to my girlfriend if she shows interest to eat restaurant.

Taiwan restaurant is worth a visit. And not expensive, of course not to the extend of every meals.
Lastly night market may sounds cheap but when you add them up, they are like your regular meals in Singapore but of great varieties.

arrival (12pm): put down luggauge at hotel + massage by blind ppl @龙山寺 mrt station + shopping + eating at 东区
Day 2: 碧谭 + 乌来 + 士林夜市
Day 3: mao Kong + afternoon tea @ some atas cafe + wufenpu..
Day 4: heavy bf @cafe based on blogger recommendation + checkout hotel + shopping + check-in to hot spring hotel @beitou + walk ard beitou if weather is good
Day 5: return to sg...

Yeah... went on empty backpack... luggage too mafan and heavy for solo traveller...

Can't skip that. Part of the plan So my skates will be in the luggage from Taichung up to Cingjing and then to Taipei.
