5D Beijing trip in Sept

Planing to go F&E to Beijing on 12 to 16 Sep. Is this period good to go Beijing? not sure whether got smog.

My itinerary . Feasible to go these places on the day?

Day1 : Arrival in afternoon at Swissotel Beijing Hong Kong Macau Center.
Day 2: Mutianyu Great wall and Ming Tomb (with car and driver)
Day 3: Tiananmen Sq, Forbidden City,Temple of Heaven and Summer Palace.
Day 4: Hutongs, WangFujing
Day 5: Departure

Day 3 too tight. Wangfujing can do at night on the 1st or 2nd day.

Thanks for the suggestion, will go Wangfujing after 5pm on day 1.

How is the weather in Sept at Beijing?

Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven and the Summer Palace are huge. Have you looked up where they are each located. Unless you do a touch and go, I dont think you can do all 3 in the same day. Doing 2 of theae attractions in one day is a challenge.

Agree with others advice, day 3 too hectic, we spent 1 whole afternoon in the Summer Palace. If you will skip 1 attraction, I personally recommend to skip Temple of Heaven. BTW, I saw other travelers combined Great wall, Ming Tomb and Summer palace, maybe you can do the same.

Also, in my opinion nothing much to see in Wangfujing besides the street food, Sanlitun and Xidan much nicer if you have limited time. Lastly, don't forget to visit Nanluoguxiang.

I wouldnt wanna skip Temple of Heaven, i rather reassign it to another day. Temple of Heaven is one of the must-see attraction in BJ!!
