Plan to stay at pratunam near airport link station Ratchaprarop.
First time solo so better look for Prominent landmark like Baiyoke Sky ah boh scare lost my way.

Due to initial need, booked an early flight and will reach Suvarnabhumi Airport before 9am. That's too early. Need advice on what I can do to kill time till 2pm to check in hotel. Considering I have a 18" trolley luggage bag. .. so going places abit leychey. Prefer not to leave it with hotel concierge. Thanks

Why not stay near sukhumvit mrt? 1 stop to airport rail
Also quite a nice area n also got bts asoke u can move around easily.
Stay at pratunam area need to walk 10-15mins to a bts or mrt station.

if u stay near Ratchaprarop railway station, good thing is that is near pratunam location. walking to platinum mall is around 7 to 10min ...
can ask for early check in if possible from the hotel ...

At that timing, just escape the heat by walking inside Platinum Mall. Have lunch and can proceed to your hotel try ask for an early check-in.

read some girls use google to cut through back lane to reach bts ...
never spare a thought for their safety. ... though is indeed quite nearby.

for bts I can get a Rabbit store value card, is there a store value card for airport link?

anyway maybe like boshio say can try asoke ( BTS ) / Sukhumvit ( MRT ) side got furamaxclusive and some other cheap hotels. what dates are you there?

can try icheck inn sukhumvit soi 19, near asoke bts n mrt n terminal 21.

very very near like 5 mins walk...

40 plus sgd per nite, decent size rooms n no frills...
