Anyone using 5G regularly ? Is it worth the switch from 4G ?

How has real world experience been in terms of coverage across Singapore and the speed ?

My post on Saturday evening.

went to barrage yday.
there are heaps of people enjoying NDP rehearsal.
tested eight vs gomo.

eight (4G): can complete the speedtest albeit less than 1mbps. 4 out of 5 bars of signal
gomo (5G): could not even connect to the internet. full 5G signal btw

Mobile Virtual Network Operator has lower priority when an area is crowded

go with expensive SingTel 5G plan for priority access

I find my battery life draining very fast when on 5G

Personally I dun think the increased speed is worth the deterioration in battery life

5g experience has been subpar.

You can have full bar and no or slow internet.

4g at least it was mostly smooth.

no real life use case that 4G cant support

Seems like not worth the upgrade for now.
