By saying the speaker, its the bottom speaker (playing music aloud) or the speaker when you put near to your ear when you answer a phone?

Walao, from your previous post I assume your previous phone is HTC One? That phone has a godly dual front facing speakers leh, every phone will seem "soft" compared to it. But if you are comparing to 5 or 4s, it is definitely "louder". Everything is relative.

All I know is I seldom miss any calls/texts and never slept past an alarm since my iPhone 4(which is "softer" than the 5s) days, and that's is enough for me.
