The novel story actually quite interesting and after watching the first 10 eps, i will say not too bad, follow quite closely to the novel with not much 注水 story

Only complaint is the actor of 吴邪。His age should be around early 40s in this story but this actor look like 小鲜肉 to me


Actually if u have watched the prev 沙海 tv show, u may have notice 吴邪 was starting to get weak liao.

His illness is due to years of going undeground tomb and keep on breathing in those toxic, rotting & stale air
Becos his family don't want him to continue robbing tomb, that why actually 吴邪 rob tomb skill was learned from his Grandpa's notebook & 三叔 notes.
He didn't really learn the actual skill of protecting himself while in the tomb.
He can survive till now is because in 盗墓笔记之七星鲁王宫, he swallow something. And this thing has been protecting his health. But this thing is getting weaker day by day and that is why his illness finally erupted

So this 听雷story was a plan to save him

By whom, u will be able to deduce when u continue watching
