This Graphic thingy is interesting.
When 6600XT launch at 8pm plus ($699 and $739), it took quite a long while (A day of few) before it get fully sold out online perhaps due to its reviews or price to performance ratio.
The next moment I read form HWZ is distro OOS and retailer markup again lol...

Usually AMD cards take a longer time to sell. And as you rightfully pointed out, most reviews out there are pretty lukewarm about the RX 6600 XT, largely due to the high MSRP. But as people start to digest the information and figure that they need a gaming GPU and the performance is really not that bad, so eventually it will sell out.

3090 still lag. Then going 3060Ti is the better choice.

BF V is not only GPU intensive, it is also very high demand in CPU requirements.

BF V was the first generation RTX and not well implemented as it must DXR upscale to 4k before we can use RTX, if we compare to COD RTX it is totally different implementation and we can play it without any DXR upscale.

But given that 3060ti is a 1440p midrange card right now, it will probably age better than 6600xt

Have, but I am not sure if they have upgraded to DLSS 2.0. The original version supports DLSS 1.0 and the image quality takes a significant hit.

Ah, I see, DLSS at 1440P only available to RTX 2080 and below, only 4K then you can use DLSS for your top end card.

Truth to be told bro, the 6600XT can't hold a candle against the RTX 3060 Ti, regardless of resolution. The positioning of the card makes it smack in the middle of the RTX 3060 and 3060 Ti. I think on average, the 3060 Ti is about 20% faster and was already one of the more attractive mid range card to get before the arrival of 6600 XT. I think at the end of the day, the price and availability will determine which is the card to get.

not sure if you have try disabled the verticle sync in game option to have a better lag free experience as I find it kind of weird that the game will enable v-sync by default and it caps frame with shutters from time to time.

I agree with what you mentioned about why AMD is not marketing the 6600 XT as a 1440p card. But frankly speaking, they don't have to tag every card to a specific resolution to begin with. Like you don't have to call out that a card is suited for 1080p or 1440p, etc. For the top end, I think from a boasting standpoint, most GPU makers will say that it is suitable for 4K or 8K.

As to the price premium, I think it is possible to buy a RTX 3060 Ti in the 900+ bucks range. If the RX 6600 XT is available at over 800 bucks, it may not be that attractive. Of course that all depends on an individual's budget. The funny thing is that less than a year ago, I was determine to get the AMD's RX 6800 XT reference card at below 1K. Fast forward to now, the low end card is sitting on the price of the RX 6800 reference card, and about 100 bucks away from the reference card pre-order I made.
