# of Threads 8
But CPU-Z only shows
4 core 4 threads same as for task manager.
and it's boost is @ 3.5 GHZ but
at 100% load multiplyer only goes to up to x31.0 (8-25) @ 3100.0 MHz
Task manager shows 3.10GHZ
Games doesnt feel as smooth as it should be..

It should be 8 threads. You sure your CPU is i7?

Btw, 3.5GHz is max boost speed, stock speed is 2.6GHz. Boost speed is not the actual speed. IT usually will not hit max boost speed when all cores are under load.

I still feel that my previous aftershock xg15 v2 765gtx 4710mq runs more smoother than this... dang.

And I have constant fps drop.
Whether I go ull low settings or full ultra setting on whichever game. It still goes to that standard ping

If got warranty, just use it bah (or at least call the service centre); diagnosing laptop CPU issues is like totally different ball game than diagnosing desktop CPU issues...

got a software called throttlestop which is specifically created to force maximum boost state , in their forum many users use it on their laptop quadcore chip which are prone to downclock throttle in gaming
