Reach Taoyuan at 12pm
FreeGo Bus to Ximending
Deposit luggage at hotel
Lunch and walk around
Check in hotel at 4pm
Taipei City mall (Taipei Main Station)
Shilin NM

Day 2
Train to Ruifang
Jingguashi and Jiufen
Kee Lung and Miaokou NM

Day 3
Bus to Yangmingshan
Beitou
Danshui , Fisherman's Wharf and Lover's Bridge.

Day 4
Eslite Bookstore
Taipei 101
Wufenpu
Raohe NM

Day 5
Taipei Zoo
Maokong
East Metro Underground mall (Zhongxiao Fuxing)
Miramar Entertainment Park
F**king place cafe

Day 6
Chiate
yet to decide
Leave for airport at 4:45pm

Anyone got any recommendation for private hot spring at Beitou?

Day 1: Ximending is much better after 7pm.

Usually we would put Shilin NM on the same day as Danshui since along the same metro line. Looking at your itinerary of Beitou & YMS, i reckon you would reach Danshui Old Street around 4-5pm if you start the morning at 9am.

any recommendation for day 1? since we want to hang around nearby to settle check in before heading out.

yeah think estimate around 5pm+ to reach Danshui , then ferry to fisherman's wharf for sunset hopefully. After that might still got time to go shilin nm at around 8+ onwards

u can go straight to hotel n deposit ur bag n head out n return at night....
just take ur personnel n expensive belongings wif u

As per FW79, deposit luggage..Bring passport,wallet and cash then go out..

When are you going? Better confirm sunset timing..

How to check the sunset timing? It will be on 2nd April 2014.

u not scared lost or ppl go use for illegal thingy den carry on lo

btw, once u lost ur passport in overseas, u not only haf to go to police stn to make report, oso haf to go to sg embassy to make a report n get a DOI document of identity. this DOI is a 1 way document, u cant do any transit n must board the flights asap n return back to sg.

This is just outside Taipei Zoo Metro Station..Near a Mcdonald..1st station of the gondola is further down the streets..

To the left is the zoo and right further down is the gondola station.
