6D5N Taiwan trip

I will be travelling to TW with my family (4 adults + 1yr old baby) in Sep. Need some advise from you all. Any inputs are appreciated. Thks in advance!

From the planned itinerary below,
1. is the schedule OK? Or too aggressive? this is my first trip to TW. So, I don't know how to plan properly, esp. my baby will also be travelling with me.
2. any hotel recommendation for Taichung and Taipei? Any hotel that can provide baby cot?
3. I am planning to engage driver for some of the Taichung and Taipei itinerary. Any driver to recommend? How much is average cost per day?

Day1 :
ETA Taoyuan airport in evening. Staying in Taichung for 2 days
Fengjia night market

Day2 and Day3 :
Lavender cottage
Kaomei wetland
Rainbow village Taichung
Chung Se flower garden
Carton King
Miyahara

Day3 afternoon, go to Taipei. Staying in Taipei for 3 days

Day4 - Day 6 :
Jiufen
Shifen
Yehliu Geopark
XMD
Raohe night market
Taipei 101
Golden Waterfall
+ some shopping

Taichung can add 921 earthquake museum. Lavender cottage if not lavender season can skip, can check google.

If you book driver, Jiufen, Shifen (waterfall), Yehliu and golden waterfall, can be done in 1 day trip. But since you have a baby with you, best to split into 2 days.
Taipei D1, Jiufen, Shifen (waterfall) and golden waterfall, end at any night market.
Taipei D2, Yehliu, Taipei 101 and any night market (can add more attractions along this route).

Taipei, I stay in Via hotel, comfortable but no breakfast provided, there is a snack and drinks counter (free).

Taichung, I stay in Lavida hotel, highly recommended.

Beitou is good for hotspring, can book private room for few hours.

Taipei cityinn n hotel puri xmd, both are good.
Taichung one is recommended for its design n breakfast. Price is good too.

i bought my kids to TW last month too.
with a small kids around, i think its best to just stick to 2 or max 3 activities daily.
it will be near impossible or very veyr rush to go so many places in a day.
unlike travelling with just adult. kids to sleep, eat, ****, e.g

i rented a car n do selfdrive throughout my trip in TW even with a car, i also find it very rush.

Bet the bulk goes to lodging.

aga its $40/day
lodging, i stay in both airbnb and hotel ... as u travel down south the accom is much much cheaper .. est average $60/day

Can check which rental company u got the car from? I am going in October with my family (total 4 adult 1 baby). Thinking if Wish size is sufficient for 1 stroller + 4 luggage (2 med 2 big).

wow! 21 days! you must have covered the whole of Taiwan! nice~!
I won't be driving in Taiwan for this trip. will be engaging private driver. Thks for yr advice, I will reduce my itinerary accordingly.. I am thinking whether to add one more day in Taichung..

My teenage daughters don't really like Yeliu, you probably can skip it.
Need pay tickets to walk around see naturally formed mushroom head shaped rock formation.. ur family probably wont walked 200 to 400m between the real famous ones, in narrow crowded path.

Probably u be settled taking photos with scaled down version duplicates near the pavilion.

Shifen for first time if u want sky lantern. (YinYang Sea nearby, Golden waterfall nice scenary)

Jiufen, can be taxing for those elderly or kids with weak legs..
Eatery filled with tourists taking a break from the tiring climb.

If u go above, ask driver to drop u at Raohe NM, the nearest one to SF/JF, unless u want to visit Keelung City one's.

If visit 101, should try the level-80+ starbuck if u are a cheapo who cannot afford the top floor ticket. For a price of a Frappe or cuppa, u get to see taipei birdeye view. Pick a morning time when Starbuck just open.
