I tested on a 5Ghz Wifi connection, side by side on the two iPhones. Yes there is a significant difference on the Wifi speed, almost twice, e.g., 97Mbps vs. 177Mbps.

I cannot believe it. Apple charge u iPhone 6 so ex but only give 1gb ram.

OS and apps are optimised hence they should deliver better efficiency if they give the same specs like android or others. Or otherwise lower their prices.

Huh?

This means that the iPhone can now cache more things with 2GB of RAM which prevent reloading of things

It actually saves data/bandwidth since your tabs don't reload when you switch to game/other apps

Hardware spec is not the focus, user experience is the main focus for Apple, the 3d touch has many potential, but Samsung phone their new feature has less potential to develop better user experience. Apple focus more on design...and how to make their product more useful in the way, that why ppl always feel that they are leading but not Samsung....just think about stylus that use in note and pencil in iPad pro

Better is subjective. Coffee may only be good to you, but better/best cup of drink for someone else.

Apple could be doing better in some areas like bypassing iTunes for some functions, and a whole other bunch of functionalities as improvements to make life better for "some" end-users.

But I love what their ecosystem has to offer.

It seems like you're trying to bring up a topic which has been covered and buried long ago by many many people

Just did a speedtest on 5Ghz, marginal improvement over both download & upload speed...
However, since speedtest result on iPhone 6 was taken months ago, router has undergone a couple of firmware updates...

But overall, snappier surfing experience due to the larger cache on the 6s...
