6S in 2017

Is 6S still 'usable" in 2017? Thinking of getting it as I kinda miss the Space Grey color a lot. Would like to know how the battery and the hardware handles the latest version of iOS 10.

I would recommend you to hold back and wait for couple of weeks for the announcement of the next iPhone.

- current 6S prices will drop
- you get to see feedback/reviews of how iOS 11 will perform on 6S
- you get to see the new design of the next iPhone.

Should wait out to see if the new OS performs well on the 6s.

If i were you, i'll grab the 6s off carosell. Considering that most iPhone users are "careful" owners. And there should be a flood load of people off loading the old sets when the 2017 models are out.

Think u can feel the lag with ios11

Each idevice can survive two major iOS revamp

At least apple Supprt up to 4 yr now iOS 11 Supprt up go 5s
It might lag but at least u can drag unlike android new phone still loaded with a 2 yrs old oS lol

No wonder so many loopholes in their oS and app

I was on 6 unto iOS 10 still ok even is lagged little on loading Whatsppls but after loaded it's ok

Loading game still decent allthugh can't go head on with 6s before I jump to ip7 last year

I still have my 6s Plus with the latest 10.3.3 and still runs like a dream. iOS 11 will still be just as great.

Mine old iPad mini 4 stil doing fine on iOS 10.3.3 too still can play lineage compare to those andriod user who xx lineage can't run well hahahhah

I'm still using the iPhone 6s Plus and the Samsung S7 edge. Both works well for me, since my needs are simple email, internet browsing, camera, music and movie with light gaming

Tested the iOS 11 Beta on the iPhone 6s and there hasn’t been much of a slow down and works pretty well with it, though haven’t tested the battery life extensively.

Thanks guys for all of your feedbacks. The reason why I might not wait until the new iPhones get released is because the 6S might be scrapped from Apple with the 7 replacing the 6S as the cheaper variant.

If u want to buy 6s or 6s plus u have to do it now. As Apple will discontinued 6s series once 7s and iphone edition release in sept.

I have iphone se and ipad 2017 both running A9 processor 2GB ram same as the 6s.

Performance on iOS 11 beta is good no lag. Even the 6s wins S8 on speed. U can Google phonebuff speed test.

U can no need worry at least till 2019.

Don't worry. Using 6s on iOS 10 still running smooth like butter.

Only changed battery at JB KSL which is considered cheap. Going to 2 years this coming nov.

iPhone 6s is still one of the fastest phone in the market. Just don't update to iOS 11 will do unless the apps you are using needs iOS 11.

My 6s+ still going strong after so long. So why not?? iPhone is not like Android. No need for so much raw power and ram. Looking at those 6GB Android is like a joke.

Iirc less than RM100. Some shops will chop u. So ask around.
