Hi guys I'm looking to go down to SLS later in the evening to buy pc.
My current requirements are:
I plan to play steam games (indie), dota2 and some AAA games.
Here's what I'm thinking of buying (from other people thread), but not sure if pricelist is updated..
Some additional questions:
1) Is this updated and good enough for my needs? Is it worth it to upgrade to i5? Will it make a difference in the games I play? What about jumping to r9 270?
2) Should I downgrade to a Pentium? Read that the only difference is hyperthreading and apparently games don't make use of hyperthreading at all. The money saved can go towards getting a monitor or trackball.
3) What if the case/psu is sold out? What should I go for next?
My current requirements are:
- No Windows OS (I got free one from school)
- No Monitor (I'm using a 1680 x 1050 monitor, sometimes when play AAA games can connect to 720p TV for higher framerates. Unless it's worth it to get a monitor with my budget..
- No kb/mouse
