Singaporean veteran entertainer Liu Qianyi, who will turn 74 next month, uploaded a roughly one-and-a-half-minute video to social media on May 27th, revealing that he had just been discharged from the hospital.
He wrote: "From May 21st to 26th, I was bedridden in the hospital for six days, unable to take care of myself. I'm being discharged today, and I especially want to thank the medical staff, catering staff, and doctors at NUH (National University Hospital) for their meticulous care."
Although he was a little breathless upon discharge, he looked good. He told the camera, "I wanted to come out and get some sun, and walk around a bit, after all, I've been lying in bed for six days without moving. I chose to walk on the grass because I was afraid of fainting and falling again. I wanted to strengthen my willpower. My wife could have walked with me, but I didn't let her know; I came out by myself."
