How is it relevant in this thread whether ITE graduate can be a Property Agent? TS was requesting some opinion on whether NUS Real Estate was also a viable degree option?
Please do not link a Real Estate degree to becoming a Property Agent. A BSc Real Estate degree, as what the other person mentions, allows you a myriad of career options, from Urban Planning, Valuation, Research to Investment and Finance.
There are bunch of renowned property developers in Singapore like CapitaLand, Far East Organization, Frasers Centrepoint, City Decelopment (CDL), United Overseas Land (UOL).
There are a bunch of Real Estate consultancy firms such as Knight Frank, CBRE, Colliers, Jones Lang Lasalle.
NUS Real Estate graduates will be first choice for these companies, given that Real Estate course is only taught in NUS, other unis donāt offer this course.
Business course is too general with no specific set of skills.
