tiagong is galaxy one only.... there were a few rumors online....

1) that the burn PCB is AMD card not nvidia... hence they are smearing nvidia reputation

2) galaxy using metallic stickers behind that short the card

3) galaxy gtx780 PCB instead of the gtx780ti PCB which the latter can withstand higher temp....

so pick one answer now.... :s13:

Basically is a failed attempt to troll the 780Ti after kena CSI.

Galaxy one looks more like manufacture fault rather then design fault. If it was design issue, whole world will have people kena.

But seriously, it really looked like someone use a blowtorch on it rather then it catch fire or something.

Saw the latest news that it affect Galaxy GTX 780Ti only which was confirmed by Nvidia PR that Galaxy made illegal change in the reference design.

Other manufacturer's GTX 780Ti are not affected.

i reckon here's the deal... galaxy is secretly hired by AMD to sabotage nvidia in this whole "show" and afterwhich if failed, nvidia will drop galaxy and galaxy will be premium partner of AMD as a fall back plan.... :D

Entertaining but plausible plot for a Hollywood conspiracy theory movie but who really knows, never say never again... the truth is out there. =:p
