7D/6N Taiwan itinerary

Hi, I'll be bringing my parents to taiwan. Please suggest and advise on the itinerary i pick up here and there from the internet :s12:.

Day 0 (29/12/2013) Flight to Taiwan!!!! Arrival at Tao Yuan International Airport before midnight, sleep and rest

Day 1 (30/12/2013) – Mon
- 0710 - 1155 Take Train to Yilan
- 1200 - 1300 Chin Sui Park
- 1300 - 1600 Taipingshan
- 1600 - 1800 Wu Lao Keng Scenic Park
- 1800 - 1900 Yilan Hot Spring
- 1900- 2100 Go to Luo Dong Night Market?
- 2300 - 0000 Back to hotel

Day 2 (31/12/2013) - Tue
- 0910 - 1355 Breakfast then take train from Yilan to Ruifang
- 1315 - 1330 Bus 1062 from Ruifang to Jiu Feng
- 1330 - 1530 Walk walk at 九份老街
- 1530 - 1600 Take bus to Ruifang then back to taipei
- 1600 - 1800 Walk around Xi Men Ding (西門町) area
- 1800 - 1830 Take Metro to 101 tower area
- 1830 - 2200 Count down party then go Shida night market for late supper
- 2300 - 0000 Back to hotel

Day 3 (01/01/2014) - Wed
- XXX - 0600 Get to YangMingShan (陽明山) to see sunrise, flower
- 1200 - 1330 Take bus to Hell Valley (地熱谷) - Bus 小9 or 230
- 1330 - 1530 Venture at Hell Valley (地熱谷)
- 1530 - 1630 Take train to Dan Shui (淡水) - Mrt from 新北投 Station to 淡水 Station
- 1630 - 1730 Take boat to Fisherman's Wharf (渔人码头)
- 1730 - 1930 Take photos, enjoy view
- 1930 - 2000 Take boat back to Dan Shui (淡水)
- 2000 - 2300 Shop & eat at Dan Shui Lao Jie (淡水老街)
- 2300 - 0000 Back to hotel

Day 4 (02/01/2014) - Thur
- 0900 - 1100 Eat breakfast at Xi Men Ding (西門町) area
- 1100 - 1300 Take TRA to Shifen
- 1300 – 1500 Visit Shifen water fall and maybe Jinggashi for sightseeing
- 1500 – 1800 Travel to and walk around 基隆廟口夜市or放天燈
- 1800 - 1930 Take taxi or train to Wu Fen Pu 五分埔 - Mrt to 後山埤 Station
- 2130 - 2300 Go to Raohe Night Market (饶河夜市)
- 2300 - 0000 Back to hotel

Day 5 (03/01/2014) - Fri
- 1000 - 1030 Go eat 永和豆漿大王 for breakfast - Mrt to 大安 Station
- 1130 - 1400 Go to Wulai (乌来) - Take Bus 74 to 古亭 Station, Mrt to 新店 Station, Bus 849 to Wulai(乌来)
- 1400 – 1600 Walk at 烏來老街, see waterfall
- 1600 - 1615 Take taxi over to TMS underground mall
- 1615 - 1900 Walk around Taipei underground mall, go up during dusk timing
- 1900 - 2100 Go to NingXia night market
- 2100 - 0000 Back to hotel

Day 6 (04/02/2014) - Sat
- 0700 - 0900 Early morning go to farm~ - Mrt to 內湖 Station, then take bus 小3 to Refresh Farm 內湖清香農場, 2790-3466
- 1000 - 1230 Travel to XinDian - National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall
- 1230 - 1345 Travel to 228 Peace Memorial Park
- 1400 - 1530 Walk walk at Long Shan Si - Shop at SOGO at ZhongXiao FuXing
- 1530 - 1700 Travel to Maokong for afternoon tea
- 1700 - 1900 Travel to Tiamu shopping district
- 1900 - 2100 Walk around Shinlin Night Market
- 2100 - 0000 Back to hotel to collect the baggage before going to airport for the midnight flight

Will be staying at same Holiday Inn hotel for the 1,3-6 day, and only in Yilan on the 2nd day.
Please feel free to advise and edit the itinerary to help make it a smoother one..

Shida nm nothing much to see...
Shilin nm is very commercialised and probably crowded like anything

Just something to note ~:)

Thanks for the inputs :)

So would it be fine to change day 2 to Jingmei night market, and day 6 to Huaxi nightmarket instead? Are those two night markets better to shop and eat at? Or there are other nightmarkets not to be miss?

Also like to check if my itinerary is a tab too ambitious? Esp for day 1,4,5 and 6? Actually need some help for Yilan, I dun really know where really good to visit and how to get there :p, just do rough check over the internet only

Appreciate any inputs given
