7D6N Taipei Trip

Here is roughly what i planned out:

• 1st day(fri) - arrive, hotel near ZhongZheng area, eat in nice jay chou restuarant, nothing planned after dinner yet
• 2nd day(sat) - XMD shopping, Modern Toilet resturant
• 3rd day(sun) - songshan/xinyi area, with 2 shopping(新光三越 & Wufenpu), 1 tp101, 1 Raohe Night Market
• 4th day(Mon) - Beitou Hotspring/Danshui/Shinlin night Market
• 5th day(Tue) - 1 day trip to Keelung
• 6th day(Wed) - Free and Easy (Unplanned), can use to revisit shopping if still got $$$
• 7th day(Thur) - Morning shopping somewhere then Leave to Airport (1:30pm flight)

1st trip to Taiwan, i welcome travelling gurus here to expand my trips
Where to do after a nice luxury dinner on the 1st arrival day?
Like where else to shop before i depart to Airport?

Maybe jiufen/shifen should be linked under keelung trip...since they are around there...

but it seems to me that jiufen/Jingguashi/ shifen/keelung is best to travel with a cabbie...? I couldn't really locate exact spots to tour around without a exact spot/name of the place... (E.g Place/Bldg name = 基隆廟口夜市/基隆情人湖/)... Dunno how to tour around these areas..

can someone help advise, how can i spend my day trip down in jiufen/Jingguashi/ shifen/keelung >> then night time back to Taipei?

Jinguashi first followed by Jiufen then Shifen and end at Keelung's Miaokou NM before heading back Taipei.

If two travelling, can stay one star hotel la. Hostel for one or two overnight stays.

Or search ard for 民宿。
Wanted to book this http://www.tripadvisor.com.sg/Hotel_Review-g293913-d2101011-Reviews-Pig_Home_minsu-Taipei.html for our family travel coz we were in group of 11, but they do take awhile to reply.

A friend stayed here be4. They run a few apartments in hand for rental. Maybe you wanna try this?

nihao@taipei is not bad. the location is so spot on-
like 2 mins from taipei main station metro, links you with TRA, HSR, and also bus to airport etc...

You can also try apartments or airbnb, some quite good.
