Oh I have hired a driver so it will be a 11-12hrs sightseeing day trip

But if I have time till about 4 before having to go back to hotel to pick up luggage and leave for airport since my flight is only at 7.55pm

Well..This is up to you but for me, wont go XMD before 4pm..Outdoor, still have to sweat..

Ooh ... I see what you mean. It is recommended to go there nearer to the late noon or early evening so not that hot.

Hmmm ... but the Taipei underground mall issit the same area as the East Metro Underground Mall as I will cover that area on Day 5.

Where are the other nice shopping places in Taipei that I could have missed out?

Sadly, part of the whole underground mall network around TMS..

Taipei East Shopping Zone..Stretches from Zhongxiao Fuxing Station till Zhongxiao Dunhua Station..Street level..

I suggest going zoo first in the morning..You can also take the gondola from inside the zoo..

-Sightseeing Day (Yeh liu, Jiufen, Pingxi Line, Keelung NM, etc)

Day 4 – Taipei
-Beitou Hot Spring – Millenium Hot Spring
-Thermal Valley
-Danshui
-Shilin Night Market

28 Apr, Sun
Day 5 – Taipei
-Dr Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall

So now the question remains as when should I slot in to visit the guard changing parade at the Martyr's Shrine and what time should I go?

What other places to recommend if I do not plan to go to the Zoo?

Which are the days to avoid for WuFenPu?

Best place to slot in if u're keen is 29th Apr..

Anyway, look for bus 287 around TMS area..Should bring u near to the place without much walking..

Ok lor. Either u go to cks or sys station which is more convenient also got change of guards. But i prefer cks side cos more magnificent in architecture, flanked by the 國家劇場，entry by 自由廣場，last time was中正廣場。。。
