Nothing, not even rumours, that suggests there will be an 8-inch Nexus device.

However, Nexus 7 is expected to receive a refresh soon, then there's the good ol' Nexus 10.

Imo the tab 3 will be cheaper than the note 8.0 still. As it's classified as a budget tablet.

Samsung got Tab 8.9 but moi not like because cannot make calls. But Amoled screen makes it good.

Tab 3 8.0 should be cheaper than Note 8.0 as the Galaxy Tab line has been positioned below the Galaxy Note line.

With regards to the AC Ryan & Acer resembling China tablets with local warranty, I can't disagree as the AC Ryan uses Rockchip RK3066 while the Acer uses Mediatek MTK8125, which are common SOCs amongst China tablets. Both devices are clearly targeted at the budget/value segment of the market.
