Diabetes is a disease of metabolic disorder. When a healthy person is reasonably active, taking 200-300g of carb daily is just right. Most likely, they damaged their bodies with junk food, so onset of diabetes for them become much earlier. Then with fatty organs like liver and pancreas, their body fail to produce energy effectively, like a car with bad engine from prolonged usage of problem fuel.

People should stop eating food that they think are unhealthy / sinful / junk / rubbish / dirty.
Be true to your Healthy Lifestyle beliefs.
I won't eat food from the rubbish bin, you shouldn't eat rubbish food too.
Don't cheat.
Please don't cheat.
Not even once every few months.
No exceptions on special festivals or occasions.

Those supplements in pill / capsule / syrup form are all super duper ultra processed food. Please don't eat them.
Those powder / liquid form meal replacement or nutrition supplements and shakes are all super duper ultra processed food. Please don't eat them.

If people really follow their Healthy Lifestyle beliefs strictly, the world will be a much better place.
They should see visible outcome in less than 5 years.

Ashton Kutcher tried Steve Jobs' healthy diet strictly and got pancreatitis.

Too bad, he missed out on a Noble Prize just because he didn't document down his adventure properly.
