Day 1: Taoyuan airport at 6am then to Taipei Main Station
Day 2: Day time -八里岛 rent bike, Evening - 渔人码头, Night - 淡水老街
Day 3: 大安站 - Breakfast 豆浆油条, 台北101, 石林夜市
Day 4: 九份
Day 5: 忠孝东路, 鼎泰丰, maybe club.
Day 6: 西门町
Day 7: 新北投
Day 8: Flight at 4pm.

Above is a rough guide of a 8D7N mainly spent in Taipei as hotel has already been booked - InnCube located at TMS.

I would like to go to the following places other than the above mentioned places:
Sanchong NM
Shida NM
Ning Xia NM
Miao Kou NM
Wu fen Pu
Long Shan Shi
Taiwan Cha Yi Guan, or any alternative tea house
Wen Wu Miao
Steamboat: 马辣鸳鸯火锅专卖

On top of that, I would like to know other interesting/must-go places to go taipei - shopping especially, any museum, exhibition, night markets, etc.

Thanks in advance! :D

day 4 you can go shifen and pingxi as well, and a place called houtong where they have loads of cats and cat-themed cafes, i just went this week, very nice...

Personally i would put beitou together with damsui on the same day since they're very near. e.g. Hot spring early in the morning, then cycling at Bali, then damsui old street, fisherman's wharf etc at night.

for me personally i find shida a bit underwhelming....

Some pictures and review of the cat village can be found here.

if you wanna go to wufenpu, don't miss out Raohe night market. they're nearby. If you get lost just ask the locals. details and directions here.

just to note- for damsui the fisherman's wharf, if you wanna go when there are programs e.g. performances there, best to go during weekend. weekdays very冷清, you won't find much there...
