Vehicles on the road also surged

I believe the increase has to do with foreigners, PR & new citizen

Quite a number of FW drive pickup, 10 footer lorry and van

And we will never know is their licence fake or kopi licence since they only need to convert their licence here and allow to drive and do not even required to attend basic and final theory like us before taking the driving test

Moreover many foreigners drive recklessly like how they drive back home

the amount of ppl using handphone while driving is insane
anyone who rides motorcycle around will know, can spot easily
this one should just give same punishment as drink driving because they do it knowingly and with blatant disregard for the safety of other road users

Maybe some ppl buy their license while in their own mother land and then just convert it to Sg’s. But in reality, they actually did not fully understood how to drive.

The authorities know the surged of death and accidents here yet not doing anything to tackle it

More death counts from traffic accidents. What has MHA been doing? Punishments for drivers are, lenient. Want to deter drugs taking lives, so give death sentence to traffickers, but slapping wrist of reckless drivers who caused deaths.

No way to "protest" because no one takes it seriously, and viewed negatively as not productive. Chance to request for accountability but wasted during elections. Vote for the same, and expecting something different?
