Cheapest I searched was pattaya for late dec. Just go to skyscanner and search everywhere, then see for yourself which one is the cheapest and interest you.

pattaya was very cheap
last few weeks checked fly 12 dec to 15 dec is 85sgd
booked my early dec ticket Sat to tue, was 57sgd lol
really cheap lol
once u went there u will shock lol
once u alight flight, u take bus to immigration counter

only 3 out of 5 counters opened
the airport smaller than marina square ...
we booked our own driver 800b , else u have to go to the airport counter to book. outside the airport is one stretch of 15min dark dark small alley road
u need to cross the place to go out to town

u need drive 1.5 hrs out to central pattaya area ...
flight counter oni 4 counters, operate by air asia and bangkok airways
so is kinda small airport
think is military airport

yup dec sometimes full fledged might b cheaper

if u fly mh can get 214sgd to Bkk end dec lol
transit at least 1 hrs plus to 5+ hrs

Sounds like more inconvenient than going from bkk. But flight to bkk is much more expensive than pattaya. That 15mins crossing the dark alley at 9pm+ (Airasia flight timing sucks) is kind of worrying.

Have to weight the cost lor...i took the bkk route and still can jiak nice cheap noodle at victory monument before taking that cursed minibus to pattaya.
